I’ve started actively researching the places I might want to stop at for some of my Drink•Eat•Walk tours, at roughly the times I’ll be stopping at them. Ya know, to see how crowded; to check the vibe; to pretend I’m a regular.
It’s that last part I only realized last night that was totally bothering me: I don’t go that often to many of the places I think I’ll be stopping, and I’m certainly not a regular at most of them.
I mean, I’m only picking places that are great, it’s just that I’ve mainly been choosing them because they fit into the theme or story that I want to tell, at that point/location in the tour.
So I hereby resolve to become a —somewhat— regular at all places on my tours (and visiting during the tours doesn’t count).
To that end, a local foodie account was also creeping the place I was checking out last night, and they posted a picture with me in it. Ya know, being a regular:
